Sri Lanka beat Hong Kong 6-1

Dhaka,  September 6: Sri Lanka bonced back to the winning ways in the hockey World League Round 1 beating Hong Kong 6-1 at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.
Sri Lanka took the lead in the 3rd minute off their second penalty corner with Dhammika Ranasingha hitting the board.
Forward Mohammad  Mulafar doubled the lead in the 30th minute with fierce reverse hit from the left edge of the arc.
Sadanuwan Priya lanka made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute with revese hit after cruising through the opposition defence with a nice through pass of Tusith Rathnasiri.
In the 45th minute Dhammika Ranasingha scored his second penalty corner goal to put Sri Lanka on four goal cushion.
Hong Kong’s Felix scored the lone goal for his team in the 47th minute with soft push after Chan Ka Chun set him free in the middle of the arc.
However in the very next minute Lakhsan Nanayakra  scored the fifth goal 48th minute with superb filed goal.
Mohammad  Mulafar wrapped  the scoreline in 6-0 with field goal in the 54th minute.
Sri Lanka has three points from two matches, they lost to Bangladesh 3-2 in their first match, Bangladesh take on Hong Kong in the last match of the meet on Sunday.
