Taipei finish 3rd

Dhaka, December 7: Chinese Taipei beat Sri Lanka 6-2 in the 3rd place decider of the Islami Bank Men’s Junior AHF Cup at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Sri lanka took the lead in the 14th minute Budhaka Ediresinghe scoring off a penalty corner(1-0)
But Yi Tise, the Taipei midfielder restored the parity in the 22nd minute with field goal (1-1)
Hsi Fan put Taipei ahead in the 38th minute as he scored an easy goal with Sheng Po paving the way with a nice through pass from the midfield (2-1)
in the 45th minute skipper Hsiang Yu hit the ball into the pad of Sri Lankan goalie Rukhsan and Hsiang Li pounced the rebound into the post (3-1)
48′ nSheng Po hit the fourht goal in the 48th minute with a cracking angular hit (4-1)
Tsung Jen, the Taipei midfielder produced a solo effoert in the 51st minute before hitting the board with a reverse hit (5-1)
Tsung Jen completed the scoreline in the 58th minute finishing from a close range (6-1)
Skipper Kuthupdeen reduced the margin in the 63rd minute off the last penalty corner (6-2)
