Bangladesh put seven past Sri Lanka

Dhaka, December 6: Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 7-0 goals to finish the league phase at the top of the table in the Islami Bank Men’s Junior AHF Cup at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.
Bangladesh will face Oman in the 1st place decider on Sunday at 2:30 pm while Chinese Taipei will meet Sri Lanka in the 3rd place decider at 11:30 am.
For Bangladesh midfielder Md. Roman Sarker scored two goals in the 44th and 64th minutes, while the other goals were netted by Milon in the 9thminute, Moinul Islam Koushik in the 17th minute,Md. Ashraful in the 23rd minute, Fazle Rabbi also scored a brace in the 28th and 47th minute.
By reaching the final Bangladesh and Oman also secured slots in the Men’s Junior Asia Cup next year.
